9/11....Spots are showing up every night after dark....and quitting around daylight....Spots are a good size and seem to be plentiful.....tonight looks to be good too.....during the day we are seeing a few spanish and blues and pompano....still trying to get pics

9/20.....Still catching pompano and spots.....a little wetter today.....doesn't seem to make a difference.....crowd not so bad..... guess they are afraid of a little rain.....I have heard they have caught 2 kings down at the Jolly Rogers today.....guess if you want kings that's where you need to be....Congrats to them.....We still have plenty of bait....fresh shrimp and bloodworms and plenty of rain suits if you forget yours.....

9/23.....Rain....clearing some in the evening....wind calm out of the SW at 2.....not much going on

9/24....Started catching spots early early this morning.......Still raining off and on.....cleared up in the afternoon....actually seen the sun come out for a while.....and a rainbow.....seen some fish....depending on where you were some did rather decent.....

9/25.....Rain Rain Rain.....they are calling for rain till Wednesday......AAARRRGGGG!!!!......But they are catching fish out there the wind is out of the NE at 9......seen some spanish, barjacks, spots and pompano....just not seeing alot of fisherman.....

9/30.....The past few days has been more like summertime weather and less like the end of September...therefore not alot of fish lately....we have seen a few pompano and spanish...just not an abundance of either....the forecast for the weekend looks real good....cooler weather moving in the wind looks to be right....lets hope the weather guys called it right for a change....we have plenty of bait and bloodworms so come on down and beat the crowd....we will see you when you get here

10/2.....Kevin Creech just caught a 25 lb king.....guess there are still a few fish out there....been a few spanish and blues also....seen one keeper flounder so far....water is clear wind in light out of the North West...weather is cooler maybe we will start to see a few more fish here shortly


10/4.....Again I feel the need to share some information with our extended pier family....Ms. Becky Smoot who has worked for us the past 11 years in the Grill has suffered a heart attack on Saturday....she is currently at NHRMC....she is doing better and will have stints put in tomorrow morning....please send her your thoughts and prayers in the coming days....and visitors or phone calls are always welcome....I will update tomorrow as information becomes available....

Fish have been biting late at night around the 2/3am hours till about day break. they have been biting well on both sides of the pier....will they bite tonite....I hope so....the wind is changing to the north east on Thurs......hopefully it will just continue to get better and better.....

10/10.....The weekend has been very busy....the spots were a hit and miss....they would show up for and hour or two at a time and then disappear again....the weather is right the wind is right ....the fish just arent doing their part.....we also saw some blues and spanish....pompano and flounder.....even heard of a handful of mullet....looks like the weather is going to be a bit wet and windy the next few days....should just make things better in the coming days....lets see if the fish do their part this time......

10/12....we have been catching spots most of the day.....not sure how long they are going to be here so dont ask....they are here now .....come and get them before the pier gets too crowded

10/16.....Edwin has gone crazy again.....he is slashing prices on rods and reels to just above cost and less on others....hes calling it the pink tag sale.....come in and look around for the pink tags....they are everywhere.....

10/17.....The wind is out of he SSW.....the weather is nice and warm....seeing a handful of pompano and spots .....heard of one 4lb flounder....just nothing to brag about.....there is a storm rolling up the coast and if everything happens the way it is predicted.....looks like we should have fish in here on Thursday.....so say'eth Edwin......we still have some incredible sales going on .....be sure to stop by and have a look.....get an early start on Christmas shopping......2012 Season Passes are also on Sale in the pierhouse....dont get locked out come December.....

11/12......The morning bite was pretty good.....saw some mullet, black drum, puppy drum, small trout and blowfish.....still seeing an assortment of fish....kinda comes and goes with the tide.....starting to see more and more fish coming from the beach....
