March 6th.....Only about 19 more days till we open back up for the 2011 Fishing Season......Lots of changes happening daily .....some you will notice some you may not.....the bathrooms have been given a new look and the Showroom has been rearranged.....there is a fresh coat of paint everywhere.....and new flower boxes,beds and a pond out front and back .....the crew has been very busy...I think you will like the changes......change is good or so I keep telling the others.....There is even a new menu for the grill....not to worry the we haven't done away with the favorites just tweaked it a little....(before I get 100 emails .....Yes we still have those Bright Leaf hotdogs....)

I need to send out lots and lots of thank you's ......the usual crew....Kenny, Spoon, and Ms. Betty, Adolfo and Uncle Billie have WORKED HARD ALL winter...with out them we would not have accomplished half of what we did....they are the real troopers.....Ms Kim has recently started helping out...and Mr Glenn Patton,and Tim Willard have been a big help with lots of little projects along the way....and Pam and James Helms who came in and worked all weekend cleaning and dusting and doing all those other jobs that I really didn't want to do..... If I have missed anyone it was not intentional.....just been a long winter .....A Big Thank You to all of you ....the place is really looking great....

What you need to know....Opening day will be Friday March 25th at 6am.....The first Va Mullet will win the 2011 Season Fishing pass.....Come on out and join us.....should be alot of fun....

3/25.....We opened this morning at 6am and had about 60 or so people out here with us.....good crowd....took them about 2 hours but finally Paul caught the first official Va. Mullet of 2011....Congrats to him....seeing mostly croakers and slicks with the occasional mullet in the mix....and of course the skates and sharks are there too...
