Important Information regarding the
2019 Children's Fishing Competition and Celebration Information
on Thursday, July 4th
This year we will again have a staggered check in starting with the oldest age group first, the Sharks (ages 14-16) at 7am, followed by the Skates & Rays (ages 11-13) at 8am, the Red Drums (ages 8-10) at 9am, the Flounders (ages 5-7) at 10 am and the Turtles ages (0-4) at 11am. We realize that some children will have younger siblings, and we will do our best to accommodate such situations but our priority will be the older children as their fishing times start first.
In the best interest of the children and for us we must limit the Competition to the first 300 children. Online Pre-Registration will begin on Saturday June 1st, and end on or before June 28thth at 6 pm with 300 children which ever comes first. We will post the point at which 300 children have been signed up. This event is free and open to children ages 0-16 who pre-register only. Sorry, no walk-ins on the day of the Tournament will be accepted. We hope to expose these youngsters to the excitement of fishing in a fun, educational, and safe family oriented environment. We will continue to look for ways to improve this experience and feedback is always welcome. We hope that you will understand and will be able to join us on our special day.
